History
- The history of vzm group began in 1968 with the idea of Rainer v. zur Mühlen
to write the diploma thesis about „Computer crime“ at the University of Cologne
- 1969 followed the first publication about this topic in a magazine
- Also in 1969 the founder responded to a call of a computer company to join
their scientific institute
- Lectures to key account customers about computer security were the basis for
consulting contracts
- 1972 foundation of the VON ZUR MUEHLEN‘SCHE GMBH, IT SECURITY CONSULTING &
ENGINEERING
- The technical approach grew over years so 1992 the engineering division
RZ-PLAN was founded out of the vzm-group of engineers
- Nov 2002 was a Highlight in the firms history:
